The Seasons they come and they go…
Every collection I create starts as a whisper—an impression, a shape, a feeling—and this one began exactly that way: with four simple hand-drawn sketches. Nothing elaborate. Just pencil, paper, and the impulse to capture the energy of each season in its most essential form.
What fascinated me in this project was the challenge of translating something so delicate and minimal into rich, textured artwork. Sketches are quiet. Texture is bold. Bringing the two together felt like merging the fleeting with the grounded—like watching the seasons shift in slow motion.
Letting the Seasons Speak
Watching each artwork evolve from a sketch to a textured piece felt like watching the seasons reveal themselves. The transformation wasn’t just visual—it was emotional. One by one, each season took on its own voice:
Spring became soft, hopeful, delicately awakening.
Summer turned vibrant, expansive, full of energy.
Fall settled into warmth, movement, and a gentle unraveling.
Winter found its strength in silence, cool tones, and serenity.
Why This Process Matters to Me
This series reminded me why I create: to explore how simple beginnings can unfold into something layered and alive. It’s the same truth we experience in our own lives—everything starts somewhere small, and with time, attention, and intention, it becomes more.
From pencil lines to textured finishes, this four-season series is a celebration of transformation, rhythm, and the beauty that comes from embracing every phase—both in art and in life.
